Rogets II: The New Thesaurus App Reviews

App shuts down every time its opened. No search functionality. Used to work with previous Os. Wondering why I was charged for an app that doesnt work.

How long does it take to fix your App? The search function has not worked for any of the recent updates. It is tough to use your app without having the ability to look up words!!

Unfortunately, the utility of this app is fairly limited now because the search function no longer works with the latest iOS. The app crashes with the tap of the search button. I wondered if reinstalling was an option, but I see from remarks by another reviewer that Id have to pay again.

This app shuts down whenever I attempt a search. So I entered settings and set the app to open automatically on the search function, thinking this would get me around the problem, but now the app. closes immediately and cannot be recalled. THEY got my money and I got nothing!!!! STAY AWAY!!!!

Wish Id read the other reviews. Crashes as soon as you hit the search button. No mention of this on the developers site, no "were working on a fix" or anything. Hasnt been updated in nearly a year. Might be abandon ware. I dont care how good it used to be, if they havent updated it for iOS 8 its trash.

Has never worked. Crashes and developers will not respond to complaints.

In Rogets opening page intro, there is typo middle third line, "entires" instead of "entries". Come on now. You are the wordsmiths. Lets get this right!

App crashes upon opening with new iOS9.

Under new IOS9 doesnt open. I actually waited a year to buy this app because took them months to fix the last bug. Dont know how long it will take to get around to fixing this one.

This is actually my thesaurus of preference. Since the iOS 9 update, it crashes immediately after display of the splash screen. I hope it is fixed soon as this app is now completely unusable.

I agree with the other reviewers. I love the app when it works. But, it wont start on my iPad after iOS9 upgrade.

Roget’s II Thesaurus is—or was—a great resource and very easy to access on my iPad. It took up far less room and was easier to carry about than my hardcover edition. But since upgrading to IOS9, I essentially don’t have it anymore; I open it and it quits immediately, which means it went from four stars to zero. Great job, Apple. Tim Cook is a genius at losing goodwill.

As a writer I used to use this app fairly frequently. Since upgrading to IOS 9.1 it wont open on my iPad2 nor on my iPad Air2. Now its November and it still isnt working. One star is generous for something that essentially doesnt exist any more. Im looking forward to when the disappearance is resolved.

Same problem as others. iOS9 update on my iPad Air causes the app to crash immediately.

Used the app a lot. Now it wont load on the iPad. The company that made it should take making updates more seriously. Very disappointing! November 12, 2015

Crashes immediately after opening on iPad Air 2 and iPad Pro, both running iOS 9.1

I have and love the Rogets II app. It works great on my iPhone 6 plus and my iPad Air 2. I use this app daily.
