Rogets II: The New Thesaurus App Reviews

I already had this but it bugged after the iOS update. I thought, to hex with it, Ill have to buy it again. This is the same, WONT EVEN OPEN. Will they refund me? Theyd better do, this is as bad as stealing the money from me. Signed, Disgusted of the Interweb.

Ive bought this app today and it simply doesnt work with IOS 9.1. What a goof!

This pretty cool app crashes immediately under iOS9 on my iPad 2 mini.

The app crashes in iOS 9. Update: still no improvement, no update or support. This app no longer works on iOS 9 for iPad.

Ive downloaded and erased the app several times and it doesnt work or causes my iPad to crash. I love Rogets, but dont buy this!

Best thesaurus on iOS. Great compliment to the AHD5 dictionary. I recommend both.

and add on with American Hertitage dictionary!!

I have the book of the AH dictionary so I did not get that app. But I needed a good thesaurus to take with me. I considered getting an ebook one but I am glad I got this one. I can make lists of words and put in specific folders. Plus I can click on words to bring up the system dictionary. I think having the AH dictionary app would be good too. But as a PhD graduate student who needed to a good thesaurus where I could build my own word lists, this is fantastic!

Upon uninstalling, I tried to reinstall from the purchased apps page of iTunes, but that only gave me the option to purchase again for $3.99, which I had to, much against my wishes.

Worth much more than $4 if you are a language enthusiast like me, It gives you meaning of the words, parts of speech, synonyms, related idioms .

While slightly complicated this is easily the best and most thorough thesaurus in the App Store (after pushing the button in the upper right hand corner to search for synonyms). I use it a ton for creative writing.

when I select "search" the app turns off. game over -you cant input words. I tried deleting and re-downloading but it didnt help.

This was my favorite thesaurus until the iOS8 and 8.2 update. There is no search function (as one new user indicated) I was just thrown out of the app. I tried to use the "support" function in the app online, but the support page referred to some applicstion I am not familiar with and only went back to iOS 5. Hopefully, since this app is still available for purchase, some programmer some where with the developer or parent company will fix this. Roget has always been my favorite and thorough "stand alone" Thesaurus.

Ive used this app many times in the past on my iPad. Im very disappointed that it wont even stay on to be able to use on my iPhone. Hope they get it fixed soon. :(

I would advise EVERYONE contemplating purchasing an app from this developer to avoid them--they apparently have no intention of fixing this-it crashes immediately when you attempt to open it!!
